Stakeholder Conference: TextileMission - Findings and Solutions from three Years of Research
What are the extent and causes of microplastic emissions from textiles? What findings are there from textile research and water chemistry? And above all, what solutions are there for reducing microplastic inputs into the environment? These and other questions were the focus of the closing conference of the Mission project on 17 March 2021. More than 150 participants followed the event.
The programme included the following presentations (incl. slides - mostly in German - for download):
- "Research Policy Framework: Plastics in the Environment"
Dr. Saskia Ziemann, Projektträger Karlsruhe - "Textile microplastics in the environment - extent of a global challenge and requirements for sustainable solutions"
